Behavioral Measurement

Behavioral measurement shall include tracking of security-relevant behaviors, analysis of behavioral trends, and identification of behavioral improvement opportunities, conducted consistently with results documented.

This requirement exists to measure security-relevant workforce behaviors and identify trends and improvement opportunities, ensuring personnel security awareness and behavior are managed consistently and measurably.

Implementation Guidance

Establish and document the process to measure security-relevant workforce behaviors and identify trends and improvement opportunities. Define accountable owners, target audiences, required inputs and outputs, delivery or assessment criteria, frequency or triggers, completion requirements, evidence and retention requirements, monitoring, reporting, review, and escalation. Align content and activities with organizational risks, incidents, policies, and emerging threats.
