Periodic Review

The organization shall conduct periodic reviews of approved risk acceptances and exceptions to assess their continued validity and appropriateness. Periodic reviews shall evaluate whether the conditions that justified the acceptance or exception remain valid, whether compensating controls remain effective, and whether the risk level remains acceptable.
