Risk Ownership

The organization shall assign explicit ownership for each risk recorded in the risk register, defining the individual or function accountable for the management and treatment of the risk. Risk owners shall be responsible for ensuring risks are properly assessed, treatment plans are developed and implemented, and risks are monitored and reported.
